Dr Vijay Bhoola

Dr Vijay Bhoola - MBBS, FCOG(SA), FRANZCOG

Vijay Bhoola, trained and practiced in South Africa and has been working in New Zealand since 1998. He practices in both Gynaecology and Obstetrics. In Obstetrics he has a keen interest in High Risk Obstetrics which involves managing twin pregnancies and medical disorders in pregnancies. He is passionate on medical education and currently holds a post of senior lecturer at University of Auckland Medical School.

Vijay is married and has 2 children. His hobbies include travel, wine, music and golf.


Dr Kerri Meuli

Dr Kerri Meuli - MBChB, NZCFP, FRANZCOG

Kerri is a graduate of Auckland Medical School and has been working as a doctor in New Zealand since 1986. She has been delivering babies for over 20 years. Although now in private practice, Kerri was previously a consultant at North Shore Hospital and former RANZCOG training supervisor. Kerri has a special interest in both normal and complicated pregnancies and has clinics at Shore Birth as well as Red Beach Coast Care.

Kerri is also Managing Director of Shore Women Gynaecology practice and works at Southern Cross North Harbour Hospital as a Gynaecological Surgeon. Kerri is married with three children. Her hobbies and interests include dance, music, sewing and costume making, walking, skiing, and travel.


Dr Maha Haddad

Dr Maha Haddad - MB ChB, Dip.Obs, FRANZCOG

Maha graduated from Medical School in 1991 and completed her fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2003.

Maha is a Director and Obstetrician at Shore Birth but also works as a part time public Specialist at National Women's and North Shore Hospitals.

Maha has a special interest in high risk obstetrics and ultrasound scanning.
Maha also practices general Gynaecology and Colposcopy at Shore Women Gynaecology Group.
Maha is married to Eddy a GP, and has two children.


Dr Helen Allen

Dr Helen Allen MB ChB, MRCOG (UK), FRANZCOG

Helen trained in medicine and specialised in O&G in Edinburgh, Scotland.

As well as practising in the UK and New Zealand, she has worked as a consultant in Nazareth and in rural Egypt, has been medical adviser to development agencies, and has helped set up a women's centre for refugees and trafficked women.

Helen maintains an interest in international health and women's issues, but professionally her first love has always been obstetrics.

Helen currently also works as a consultant for North Shore Hospital.

Helen is married with a daughter and enjoys gardening, walking, skiing and cooking.
